What kind of individual is best suited for Seattle Premier Health?
Our goal is to be your partner in helping you achieve and maintain optimal health. If you want to pursue a healthy lifestyle and are willing to take an active role in managing your health, diet and exercise, then you would likely be an ideal candidate.
Do you accept only patients who are in good health?
Not at all. Patients can see us regardless of their current state of health. Our patients have a full spectrum of health concerns ranging from routine preventive care to chronic medical conditions.
How do I pay my monthly fee?
You will be charged the monthly fee at the end of each month. Your checking account or credit/debit card will be billed $238.00 for services rendered during that month.
If I later determine this program is not right for me, can I terminate my patient agreement?
Of course. You are free to cancel your patient agreement at any time and for any reason. We require notice in writing. Upon its receipt, we will close your billing account the following month. We understand that patients may choose to leave our practice for a number of reasons. If you are dissatisfied with our program in any way, please tell us, so we may have the opportunity to improve our systems. We genuinely want to provide every patient with the best possible service.
If I cancel my patient agreement, can I re-apply later?
Yes. You are welcome to re-apply at any time. Please keep in mind, however, that we limit the number of patients in our practice so we can give our full attention to each individual. If our patient panel is full, you may be placed on a waiting list until space becomes available.
Do you limit the number of patients in your practice?
Yes, we do. Each physician has a limited panel of patients. If you'd like to join Seattle Premier Health and our practices are full, you may be placed on a waiting list.
Can I choose the physician who will provide my care?
Absolutely. We want you to feel totally comfortable with your Seattle Premier Health physician. We currently have four doctors in our practice. Before you make a decision, we encourage you to view the doctors' biographies. Then, schedule a meet and greet appointment with one or more of them to get acquainted in person. If you have no preference, we'll be happy to choose a doctor for you. You will see your preferred doctor whenever possible. If you require urgent care and your physician is not available, the other doctor will see you. Our physicians - as well as any additional staff members who may be on call after hours - will have access to your electronic medical record.
Can I change physicians after I join Seattle Premier Health?
Yes, you can — assuming the doctor has availability on his or her patient panel. If not, you may be placed on a waiting list.
Can I add family members to my billing account?
Certainly. Spouses, domestic partners, parents, children age 18 and older and other family members are welcome to join Seattle Premier Health provided we have space. We will keep a separate medical record for each family member, and each may request his or her preferred physician. Depending on availability, we'll make every effort to meet their requests. Please note this is an adult practice and we cannot accept patients younger than 18.
Can I enroll my children although I'm not a patient myself?
Yes. Your children age 18 or older can join Seattle Premier Health even if you do not.
If I became seriously ill and needed your services more often, would my fee increase?
Absolutely not. Our fee is set at the beginning of the year and will remain at that level for all of our patients, regardless of how often they see our physicians. We can't stress this enough: we strongly urge you to use our services whenever you need them, as we believe this is in the best interest of your long-term health.
Can a patient use your services too often?
No. We have absolutely no limits on the number of times you can come in, nor the length of time of your visits. Once again, we're here to help you achieve and maintain the best possible health. We believe that preventive care and dealing with any potential problems as early as possible are essential to your overall health. Of course, if you have more serious conditions that need ongoing care, we're here to help you all along the way.
Can I request a refund if I don't use your services?
No. We want you to use our services as often as you need them.
