Get to Know Heather Johnson

A native of Washington state, Heather was born and raised in Kitsap and Pierce counties. She launched her healthcare career in 2005 after being hired as a Medical Assistant and has focused a majority of time since then working in Internal Medicine. For more than a year, Heather was an Instructor for Medical Assistants at Everest College. From there, she moved on to become a supervisor of Medical Assistants and Lab Personnel at Sea Mar CHC.

Over the years Heather has helped patients on a wide socio-economic spectrum, working for organizations that included everything from low-income clinics to private, commercial, and concierge clinics. “What I truly enjoy about medicine is guiding patients on how to become healthy and more active in their healthcare decisions.”

Personal Side of Heather Johnson

Heather is the happiest spending her off-duty hours outside. She loves taking overnight backpacking trips and day hikes with her dog, Gypsy. She also loves cross-stitching, painting, and reading. And although she is proud to be a grandma, she says she feels far too young to be one!
